Mr. Fern Dominelli, Chief Administrative Officer
Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board 210 Mead Boulevard
Espanola, ON P5E 1R9 Dear Mr. Dominelli:

Re: Ontario Priorities Housing Initiatives (OPHI) Revised Planning Allocation

In response to your business case request and that of other Service Managers, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) has facilitated the reallocation of some Service Managers’ OPHI planning allocations. Adjustments made through this process will not result in any change in your OPHI planning allocation, or administrative costs over the life of the program or obligations under OPHI. Please note, your administrative costs will also remain unchanged per fiscal year as previously approved in your Investment Plan and must not exceed 5% of your total OPHI program allocation.

The Ministry is pleased to approve the resulting revised planning allocation for the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board indicated below:

OPHI Revised Planning Allocation
2019-20 2020-21 2021-22 Total
0 0 656,700 656,700

The Service Manager Transfer Payment Agreement dated September 24, 2019 between the Ministry and the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board will apply to the above revised planning funding allocations.

I trust this revision to your planning allocation allows you to better respond to the affordable housing needs in your community.

Sincerely,

Joshua Paul, Assistant Deputy Minister
