Re: Investment Plan Approval for the Social Services Relief Fund (SSRF) Phase 3 Funding
The Ministry has completed its review of your Investment Plan for the Social Services Relief Fund (SSRF) Phase 3 and I am pleased to confirm approval of the plan as attached. Your allocation of $1,006,274 for the 2020-21 fiscal year has been entered into the Transfer Payment Ontario (TPON) system.
The Ministry will review Service Manager’s quarterly report-backs that are due on July 15, 2021, October 15, 2021 and January 15, 2022 to track progress towards your planned quarterly spending amounts. Funding that is not spent by December 31, 2021 or that is not used for an eligible expense under the Program Guidelines shall be returned to the ministry on demand. As a reminder, all eligible operating expenses must be spent by December 31, 2021.
If you wish to make an announcement of funding, I would like to remind you that you are required to notify your municipal services office well in advance for consideration by the province.
