Have a say in the strategic direction of the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board by taking part in an online survey.
The Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board (DSB) has contracted the non-profit Housing Services Corporation (HSC) to develop a new five-year strategic plan to guide health and human services decisions in the district.
Responsible for meeting the needs of residents over a vast geographic area, the DSB is in the process of gathering information “from all parts of the region to generate a plan that is both inclusive and comprehensive.”
“Gathering feedback from the residents of our district is essential to the development of our Strategic Plan,” said Donna Stewart, chief administrative officer for the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board.
“We hope to develop a plan that addresses the unique challenges the residents of our district face. There is no better way to address the needs of our communities than by hearing from the community members themselves.”
The survey, which all residents of the Manitoulin-Sudbury District are encouraged to complete, seeks opinions about the service needs and barriers in area communities, with the data collected being used to inform service system planning, including the use of current programs and services delivered by the organization.
The survey is offered in both English and French. It can be found on the DSB website, msdsb.net. Access the survey directly in English here or in French here.
